Final Outcome:

Key Information
Tools: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign
Implemented In a Group Work
Brief
The professor instructed the class students to develop a business proposal and create a branding book, including business cards.
Process
1. I was brainstorming the business idea, which ended up being related to spaceship craft. I used the forced connection technique to come up with the company's products.

I created a fictional business by using the forced connection theory
2. Then I started to work on a logo for a company. I liked the second one because I was able to express my identity with the imaginative company. I have used the "E" letter as a start for the rocket, which is related to my first name.

Logo variations for the fictional business
3. I decided to add the first letter of a name of a person I collaborated with to make the company resemble both of us.

Variations of the company logo from the previously selected sample
Decisions
I was playing with the contrast of the card's background and the logo of the company. I found that the black colour background with the white font created an extreme contrast that people might find distractive.
Also, I removed a photo from the first one because the information on a business card must be eye-catching, and the picture can switch persons' attention from the critical information.

Takeaways
This project was my first experience with InDesign, as well as it was my first design project done with someone. It was challenging in the beginning due to the lack of technical knowledge, but creating multiple illustrations and watching explanatory videos on how to transfer them into InDesign really helped me to progress in the project.
